Three cubic feet of air per second for one second at DC! |
The Linear Actuator V-Driver Subwoofer has over six square feet of driven active diaphragm surface, more than an eight inch excursion and is capable of moving 3 cubic feet of air per second for one second at DC. What more do we need to say?
Well...maybe a little more...In the Linear Actuator V-Driver Subwoofer flat fibre composite panels intake and exhaust an enclosed volume of air as the panels converge and diverge. All of the volume of air enclosed between the two panels, over three cubic feet, may be either intaken or exhausted at any frequency or combination of frequencies down to direct current, or DC. Thus frequencies which are present in the air molecule output of musical instruments, including the human voice, may for the first time be properly reproduced. There is only one air molecule soundfield in the production and reproduction of music and sound. Air molecule motion, whether heard as sound, or felt as energy, is part of the original acoustical signal and true, high fidelity reproduction of that original acoustical event means full air molecule field reproduction, right down to direct current.
The Subwoofer comes in marble and selected, non endangered hardwoods.
System Requirements: The subwoofer requires a high quality electronic crossover, such as the American Power and Light, Inc, All Vacuum Tube unit. Further requirements are are an amplifier stable at high direct current delivery.
The Subwoofer retails for $4,500 US. For ordering information call 1(209)245-4689 or e-mail info@americanpowerlight.com.
